The Eleventh Annual BHS College Essay Workshop will be held on Saturday, September 27th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The free workshop will help members of the class of 2015 with essays at any stage or essay ideas, according to the organizers. Members of the school’s English department and parent volunteers will lead the workshop. Seniors can register here.

The Day of Racial Reform and Solidarity (DoRRS) is an event dedicated to exploring topics related to race and racism through lessons, guest speakers and the stories of community members. In an email, Head of School Anthony Meyer announced the administration's decision to postpone the event to January of 2025.

Students hustle to class in order to not break the new tardy policy. This year, a student receives an "excessive tardy" if they are late by more than 15 percent of a 55-minute class, equating to nine or more minutes late.
