The 4th annual Cherry Blossom Festival was held on May 9 at the high school. The Cherry Blossom Festival celebrates the cherry trees given to the United States by Japan 103 years ago. The quad overflowed with crowds of people enjoying Japanese festival activities, food and performances. Performances included taiko drumming by Genki Spark and Odaiko New England. Festival attendees had the opportunity to try on yukatas, enjoy Japanese shaved ice and have their names written in katakana.
