As a faculty member at BHS I was extremely proud to see the assembled events out together by coworkers and student leaders. The speeches shared and presentations made sparked the mind and furthered conversations in a positive direction. Along with all of this, the audience response, as evidenced by follow up conversations I’ve participated in following the day’s events, was very promising and reflective.
Thank you very much to all those who coordinated the day, and thank you to everyone who participated.

It was so worth it to get out of class to see those assemblies. I learned a lot about #blacklivesmatter and was moved by the compelling stories I heard. Nothing short of a wonderful day!
