March 28, 2016
According to the Museum of Bad Art’s website, MOBA is a community-based, private institution dedicated to the collection, preservation, exhibition and celebration of bad art in all its forms and glory. Their mission is to bring the art to the widest of audience. The pieces of work below are featured at the Brookline Interactive Group’s gallery, which is located on the third floor of the Unified Arts building.
A majestic lion, with a yellowish gaze and fierce expression stands out from the orange background. The whiskers, only a faint line against his prominent and golden mane, give the viewer more texture and emphasize the warm colors the artist used to create the piece. A shadow on the right side of the lion’s face give more depth and create a more realistic image. “Donated by Chuck Forbush” ARIANNA IAVARONE / SAGAMORE STAFF
