Senior Emma Staff has always had a passion for art. In 4th grade, she started sewing and designing clothes. As she grew older, she became interested in drawing, painting, metal working, jewelry making and photography. She learns most of her skills through classes at the high school, but she also expands on them during her free time.
“In times when people are sad or there’s something upsetting art can be a really helpful tool to take people out of the world they’re in, and also it makes people think,” said Staff. “It’s fun to be able to convey a message or something that you believe in a way that’s unique.”
