Spanish teacher Kenny Kozol recently released “99+1,” a politically charged song supporting the recent occupy movements around the nation.
In a message to faculty, Kozol said, “While I usually don’t get too political in my music, the 99 percent movement inspired my creative juices and I recently wrote a song (in Spanish) with a couple friends about the situation.”

A verse of the song translated from Spanish:
Listen, honestly these capitalists are… they even stolen the nails from the cross.
Say, what?
The nails of the cross
One percent robbed me
One percent has it all
And of the 99, from this group I come
And of the 99, from this group I come
He worked so much
The friend that I loved
He thought that he would retire
But the money wasn’t enough
He thought that he would retire
But the money wasn’t enough
