POTS: What book that you have read in or for school has changed, affected or taught you the most?

“I read the "Handmaid’s Tale" and that was a really good book. It was a story about this totalitarian society where women were categorized based on their fertility and the idea of if babies were not produced as frequently and how that affects society.”

“I had an independent reading book about a survivor from the Holocaust ["Hope is the Last to Die" by Halina Birnbaum], and it really made me think about not taking things for granted and how hard it actually was.”

“Well, there are two. There’s "Wonder" and "To Kill a Mockingbird." They both show empathy and I think that’s really important in the world. I think it taught me to be a better person because it shows how people are affected when others aren’t understanding of others. I don’t want people to go through that bullying.”
