Ranna Shahbazi, junior
“I feel proud to be a BHS student when I'm rehearsing with Camerata choir and basically when I'm in the choir room doing anything with the music department, because all the kids are really dedicated and we have a really good time, and it's an honors choir so you know that the kids put in work to be there, and we've all become really good friends.”
Prasanna Bhad, junior
“When we have events such as Powerpuff or really big games, playoff games maybe, because it shows how great we are, and we can show that we are proud to be a Brookline high school student and we can be proud to say that our athletic teams are great.”
Gaya Shechter, sophomore
“When I see people coming together and fighting for a change like during the walkouts or all the assemblies.”
Emma Grinspoon, senior
“I would say that I feel proud to be a Brookline high school student whenever we have a big day of social activism at the school like Day of Dialogue and Day of Courage because it's a moment when the school comes together to make change and actually work for a cause and I think it's really unique to BHS.”
Noam Scully, sophomore
“I am proud on Day of Dialogue and Day of Silence and the other assembly days. I am proud because I think it's really impressive that teenagers like us organize something so moving and profound like that.”
