“What I really admire about her is that she forces her students to think from a less Brookline-y, liberal perspective. I think she definitely helped me to be more confident and more decisive in what I say and what I believe in. She taught me how to be less of a follower and more of a leader and forming my own ideas, opinions, and beliefs. I was scared of her at the beginning of the year, but then I realized that as a teacher, person and woman, she’s so confident in what she’s teaching. She knows how to be a very good, serious teacher, but also a funny person. And I just really enjoyed being in her class.”
