It wasn’t always easy. There were days when I’d come back from class and find all the items on my desk rearranged into a chaotic mess or the desk itself redecorated with ancient tapestries that I couldn’t remove because he’d nailed them into the wood. And then there was the giant "melodies in motion" clock that he brought into the office that blasted various Beatles songs on the hour. Oh, the clock! But through it all I grew braver. Stronger. Faster. So here’s to you, Dave Mitchell: one of the greatest former officemates that’s ever lived.
