On Wednesday, Feb. 1, the boys varsity hockey team beat the Dedham Marauders 3-2 for their first Bay State win in over ten years. Senior John Buckley scored one goal, and junior Ian Crowley scored two. The center for the Warriors, junior Thomas Harrington, remarked on the importance of this game. “This was our first Bay State win in over ten years. It is important and gave our team motivation and will give us confidence in our dangles and snipes over the rest of the season.”
Editors note: “dangles” and “snipes” are hockey terms. “Dangles” is used to describe a hockey player tricking another player with puck-handling moves, and “sniping” a goal is when you make a difficult shot.
