Crispy potatoes

I’ve been looking at this recipe for a while, as it claims to produce the best crispy potatoes while remaining really simple. All the ingredients are super straightforward, and I liked that the seasonings are “suggested,” and the readers are encouraged to adjust those to their taste. For seasonings, I used salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder, simply because I didn’t have any of the other ingredients available. Usually, when making potatoes, I either boil them or bake them, so I was a bit skeptical of doing both at first. Like all the other recipes that I’ve discussed, this is extremely easy and doesn’t require a lot of culinary finesse. Overall, the potatoes took about 45 minutes to prepare from start to finish and did not disappoint in terms of flavor. They were very crispy on the outside, soft on the inside due to the boiling and all-around very flavorful. My whole family approved of this recipe, which in my eyes is a very high honor. I’m sure this dish can be replicated without the recipe, but it’s nice to have something with specific temperatures and times so you know you can get it right every time. I would definitely recommend this recipe and will be making it again.
