The Abbey

The Abbey is an eatery and bar offering pub-style food and a variety of scotches. They can be found in the Washington Square area and are operational at late hours.

What safety protocols are the Abbey following right now?
Social distancing, all tables are six feet apart on the deck and outside covered tables. We have set up barriers at the bar. We don’t allow anyone to stand. No one can join. We keep the tables down to six people. If you’re not seated and/or consuming a beverage or food, you have to have your mask on.

How do you think these protocols have been fairing?
People have been very, very positive. They’ve definitely cooperated with us and we haven’t had any issues.

What would you say to anyone coming into the Abbey for the first time? What would you ask of them?
Masks (are) required, and you do also have to order some food with your drinks. But like I said everyone’s been super cooperative, (we’ve) gotten along great.
