Black InDesign program gives students insight into design
Five students were selected to explore the complexities of architecture through Harvard University’s 10 week-long Black in Design Mentorship program in collaboration with Perkins&Will, a Boston design firm. The program paired high school students with professional designers from Perkins&Will as well as Harvard graduate students. The program met every week, and assigned work centered around architecture. Below are profiles of three students talking about their experiences with the program.
