Dasha LeFaivre – Senior
What got you into track?
I started running when I was six and I didn’t really take it seriously. I joined the cross country team freshman year and I really enjoyed the community so I decided to stick with it.
What are your goals for this season personally and as a team?
I want to get back into running now that my foot is recovering from injury. Teamwise, I want to tighten our community and place well at states.
What are you going to miss most about being on the team?
I’m going to miss the team the most. It’s very chill. In college, there is a lot more pressure but in high school, the environment is relaxed and we focus on individual work during practice as well as team building exercises. College just isn’t the same feeling.
What is a fun fact about you?
I am Russian.

What are your goals for this season personally and as a team?
My goal for the team is to make everyone feel like the team is their safe space, and to make it a place people look forward to going to. We want to create a good team culture where everyone cares about each other.
What are you going to miss most about being on the team?
The variety of people and the variety of perspectives because everyone runs for a different reason but everyone is friends and it’s a great community.
What is a fun fact about you?
I have two dogs.
