BREAKING: School Committee recommends Bott as new Superintendent

The Brookline School Committee voted to recommend Andrew Bott to be the next Superintendent on Mar. 3. Bott, who is currently the Principal of the Lincoln School, was one of three finalists for the position.

According to the Brookline Public Schools, a School Committee vote on the morning of Thursday, Mar. 3, yielded six votes for Bott, one for Bedford Superintendent Jon Sills and two abstentions. No votes were cast for Dr. Bernard Taylor.

The School Committee will cast a final vote on Mar. 10 to confirm their choice, pending contract negotiations.
