Puppet Showplace Theater

Presenting engaging shows for adults and children alike, the Puppet Showplace Theater strives to provide a space for learning and connection in each one of its shows. Open since 1974, the Puppet Showplace Theater has always been working to enrich the culture of the Brookline community through puppeteering. Over 25,000 guests visit the theater each year, making it an important cultural hub in Brookline. Due to the COVID-19, the theater is unable to hold shows, but it doesn’t mean they want to stop serving their community. Artistic Director Roxanna Myhrum encourages families to visit their website where they have uploaded content from a variety of puppeteers. To support the Puppet Showplace Theater during this uncertain time, Myhrum asks for those who are able to donate to the Theater’s Take Action Emergency Fund, which can be found on their website, and to alert local lawmakers about the struggles small businesses are currently facing.
