The School Committee postponed a scheduled vote to confirm a new Superintendent at their meeting on March 10 due to the absence of School Committee member P.H. Benjamin Chang. School Committee Chairman Susan Wolf Ditkoff said it is the School Committee’s policy not to cast votes when a member is absent.

According to Ditkoff, Chang was out of town on work related business.

The School Committee had scheduled the Superintendent confirmation vote on March 3, when it recommended the appointment of Lincoln School Principal Andrew Bott.
